Pitching Getting Crushed in Bronze Tourneys - Page 2

this is what is going on

to the left are two of my games after about 3 minutes of just moving high power guys to roster. didn't bother with any optimization. they aren't the best.

to the right is some stats from an earlier tourney, where i noticed the chicanery. but even with my typical setup, it was, what, 11 home runs in 5? 6? games

iron tourneys. i think highest power guy is around 85

yeah, same. not until about 8-12 hrs ago.

after reading more of this, I guess it has been going on in iron tourneys, too. I didn't do any for 3 days or so, so I may have missed it (got sick of players disappearing from roster)... or maybe just another one of those things that person A discovers then everyone else copies .. though seems a bit obvious for it to take week+

I was wondering why I was doing so poorly on these tourneys the last 24-48 hrs. Sent an image up of that. Laugh. Guess it'd get better now, if I want to scum up a premiere "power" only roster. i guess you'd probably just want to take highest stamina pitchers available -- they still seem better than position players pitching. laugh. I think I'd rather just mess w/ single player mode,

Final comment here .. I just slapped together a team in about 5 minutes, sorting by power & just making sure that the eye/avoid K wasn't absurdly low (not even sure if that matters, but ...)

7 matches later ... but guessing it could be much higher.

.. oh, pitchers with high stuff do the best, since striking out hitter is best option... or so would be my guess. I notice that George Cuppy gets destroyed all the time.
