FYI: Silvam14's Historical Stadiums now available on Steam workshop for OOTP23

I uploaded today. There are some updates from last years version in some parks.

Couple of major ones:

New version of Astrodome (Pre-Renovation with Sliding pits)

New version of Memorial Stadium

Lots of other minor changes/tweaks I made as I played through some of them last year. (more so on the early 1900's parks)

Let me know any feedback.

Thanks

Mike

Subscribed. Probably been checking that Workshop page twice a day hoping for this and 2 or 3 others. Thank you

Thanks silvam! These stadiums take me right back to my childhood and seeing the likes of Killebrew, Carew, and Oliva out on the field again. Not ready to start a historical game yet, but I will at some point.

I’m glad you like them. That’s how I feel when I play a game in any of the 80’s parks with the great uniforms of the era. I feel like I’m watching This week in baseball highlights or I’m a kid at Fenway again

Yep. The coolness of touches like the old advertisements on the walls. So good. Gonna make playing out old historical games for me even better.

Along these same lines, what are folks' most memorable clips from the closing credits of TWIB?

The ones I remember most are the 2 Angels (Pettis and Lynn or Downing maybe?) colliding going after a ball at the wall, a from behind the catcher view of a slowed down Mike Boddicker curveball and the Mike Schmidt 500th HR double fist running in place thing after he hits it.

I played "Gathering Crowds" (my IPhone has the APM All-Stars version) for my daughter last year as I explained what "This Week in Baseball" was for kids of my generation. She gave the song a big thumbs-up. Takes me back...

Haha nice. I follow a Twitch channel that allows you to use channel points to add a song to the random Spotify mix that he plays during the stream and I added Gathering Crowds recently

Thanks Silvam14. Your historical parks are great. But what is a steam workshop and how do I find the page?
