Hi Markus and others,


Are there any plans or hopes to make it so opening packs/having to complete those missions doesn't take 1804594097095^83 clicks?


It's the one thing I hate most about PT now that I have tried it out.

The current update to OOTP23 does not state this, or at the very least states this incorrectly when attempting to register for a new account for Perfect Team...

I think I'll call it a day and try again tomorrow. It's past midnight in Europe and I doubt seriously anyone is working on it at this point

Can't log in

For whatever reason, I can't log in. Trying to register, but the email verification never comes. OOTP 23 Mac Monterey from the App Store. version 23.2 build 53

so good news, the public beta of the upcoming patch was stable and the issues on our simulation servers have been resolved, so we will launch both a patch and Perfect Team officially tomorrow.

Here's the launch plan:
Tuesday May 3 - Official PT23 Launch Day
At around 2-3 AM ET (essentially in the middle of the night) we will reset all PT23 beta teams and shut down simulation servers.

At around noon ET, we will release an OOTP 23 update (build 23.2.52), you will need to install this in order to access PT. The PT system will be reopened at the same time and you can register (using the same username & email combination to qualify for the loyalty rewards) and set up your brand new team again, open your starter packs (plus any bonus packs) etc. PP purchase will be available at that time, too. If you registered during the beta, you will need to register again!

At around 2 PM ET the first Entry Pool leagues get created and simulations start either exactly at that time or half an hour later.

Monday, May 9 - First promotion round
At the usual time (morning ET) we will start the first PT23 promotion round. This time, we will populate the first five levels (Rookie, Stone, Iron, Bronze, Silver) based on team winning % compiled in the entry pool. Teams with less than 30 games in the Entry Pool will automatically start at the Rookie level. Simulations will begin 10 AM ET, as usual.

IMPORTANT: Because of a new backend provider, your current OOTP 22 Challenge Mode / Perfect Team 22 account will NOT work in OOTP 23! You will have to create a brand new account. We also have a loyalty bonus program, which looks at your new PT23 account (username & email) and if this account has been active for previous Perfect Team versions, it gets the following bonus (skipping one version reduces the bonus to the next level):
Since Perfect Team 19: 2 Diamond, 1 Historical Pack, 1 Gold Pack and 1 Silver Pack
Since Perfect Team 20: 1 Diamond, 1 Gold Pack and 1 Silver Pack
Since Perfect Team 21: 2 Gold Packs
Since Perfect Team 22: 1 Gold Pack

The pre-order Gold Pack offer will expire May 9, and the loyalty bonus program on May 27.

If you completed the loyalty mission in PT22, you will need to log out and back in after ripping your starter packs for the Brooks Robinson card to show up.

IMPORTANT: In order to claim your username from a previous version of the game, you need to register with the same username and email that was originally used to create the account. If you register now using the same email but a different username than in a previous account, you will no longer be able to reclaim the old username. If you don't know the email address that connects to a specific username, you can log in to the Challenge Mode site with your account credentials, and you'll be able to see the email address linked to your account. You can also check out our video here that will walk you through the process of migrating your account.

Are people getting put into an entry pool? I've been stuck on preparing for a few hours now, not sure if that's an issue or if the pools just aren't happening yet.

I believe that is on purpose. I think that they are not starting the entry pool until all the log in problems are solved. Been that way for half a day. Looks like today is a wash. Rats! Skunked again!

Some of my Gold cards turned out to be Silver. Some of my Diamond cards turned out to be Gold. I thought it was odd that some players had already been demoted in value before we played PT. I assume the value of the player was set before the season started and players have gone down in value.

Search this and other threads on how to clear your card cache. If you played beta, some of the values (and tiers) weren't set in stone yet but you still have those images in your cache.
