Alternate jerseys

Looks like the alternate jerseys are working in the 3d part of the game, but not updating the player pictures in the game during the alternate jersey days.

Any suggestions?

This is intentional.

It's like how when you're watching on TV and a team is wearing their alt jerseys, you don't see them wearing the alts in the profile pics that the broadcaster puts up, usually just their home uni.

Same thing happens if you're at a game and they put the batter's picture on the scoreboard. He's usually in whatever uniform he took the picture in spring training.

Anyone read anything about the jerseys available on certain days?? ie fourth of July.

I saw the original ad for OOTP 23 said days of the week and custom dates.

I selected Mondays and Fridays for the alternate road unis and Sundays for the alternate home unis unless they're a throwback uniform then I use them for Throwback Thursdays.

I designed a Friday Night Lights uniform for my team. I also selected Friday for my away alternate uniforms. Considering a Sunday alternate as well.

As was I. Was really looking forward to a good use for the many awesome camo jerseys on the mod forum.

Edit: I could swear “specific dates” were mentioned SOMEWHERE…

I don't necessarily remember Markus and crew saying it, but I do know Scott Braun did with his interview with Markus.

Also, keep in mind with the pants coming into play, you can't just set a Sunday jersey if a team wears the same jersey on Sundays home and away.

I did draw out a layout of all 30 teams and their alternates and tried to use the best on how they dictate the alts. You can't designate day games (like the A's using the black jerseys in the 2000s was only for day games), but can designate days (i.e. White Sox throwback Sunday, Giants City Connect Tuesdays, D-Backs throwback Thursday, etc.)

It would be cool if we had the option to include the alt jerseys in the profile pics. I hope this is added in the future. I like to post screenshots of the Player of the Game baseball card in my game recaps. Right now if I want the alt jersey on the card I need to go into the team settings and change it manually.
