Lack of support

I don’t know why I ask questions on the forum, I have not recieve d a single reply from anyone there. I get the feeling since I’m not in the clique I’m wasting my time. Of all the forums I have been on this forum is the abosulute worsht. People on here do not have a clue about what the game does.
I’m not feeling very good now, if you would read my post on VEr 2w from 5/1/22 I would greatly appreciate it. I do not know how I could copy that on this post.

You posted a message on the general forums, late on a Sunday night, describing a problem but not including enough information for anyone to be able to really understand what's going on, and you're now complaining that you haven't received an answer three hours later and insulting and calling out everyone on the boards because of it?

Anyway, to get to the issue you're experiencing, for us to give you any help, you're going to need to describe a little more about what's going on, with which players are being released and when, as well as any changes you've made to the settings of the game, including any added roster limits (which can often cause issues with players being released).

It would be even more helpful to be able to get a copy of your league's .dat files. You can either send them directly to us as per below, or you can put them up on Dropbox or another sharing site and post the link here.

I have read your reply, if you go back on any of my post in the last 3-4 years you will be able to see I had many posts that hadn’t been replied to after being posted for many weeks, I know 3 hours isn’t very long but I can wait for weeks on my last one and not any replies. So after quite a few no replies you would ask me to fully explain my problem? After I get someone’s attention I would gladly do everything I could do to solve the problem.
I am currently dealing with health issues that limit my time to correct things myself. I am unsure how to get the dat file to you, I have no other location I can post it to.
I stumbled across the logo files not working, that info should have been posted on the site by the staff letting everyone know what to expect.
I have also found out from the past that even with problems are encountered with the game and posted in ‘the bug forum’ not much happens to solve it, many times I have been told that things would be checked and someone would get back to me, which they never did.

There's no guarantee any posts on the forums will be replied to. People will reply where they want and can do so.

Officially we try to respond to as many reports as we can, but we cannot officially reply to all of the tens of thousands of messages on the forums, and also cannot provide updates to every issue that was mentioned. We'd have to hire some folks to do nothing but reply to every post in order to do that.

EDIT: The more information you provide, the more likely it is that someone will reply. Just saying that 'the game released some players it shouldn't' is not something anyone can really act on. Giving specific instances of the players released, info about the settings you're using, including copies of your league files or debug files as the case may be, all of that helps anyone who might reply out and makes it more likely you'll get a reply in the first place.

If you report a bug, we will put it in our system to review, but what we determine from the review and if it's fixed or not, we cannot always directly communicate to whoever originally reported it.

As far as providing your files, there are instructions on how to get those to us in the link in my last message. You can also just take the .dat files from the save, zip them up and then post them on a free file sharing site like Dropbox or Google Drive and then post the link here.

T If my first reply to the bugs forum was not true you would have been correct in calling me out like you did. But the forum itself has gone downhill. I seldom post to the bugs forum because I don’t know if it was a bug and I don’t want to bother the staff with worthless posts. At one time most of the problems were solved in the forum.

I play all of my OOTP on my PC running Windows 10. For years I have loaded in on my J drive with no problems. I downloaded V23 on its early release date, and to quickly see how it was, I loaded some player photos into it and tried to import my game from V 22 onto V23. Everything looked fine except for the uniforms, which on the mods forum I found the problems was the logos not being licensed. I loaded the logos from the mod and they worked. I played out my next scheduled game , all was fine. I looked at the transaction page and found Aaron Judge on my team was released. I corrected that with the player editor. I played another game and found Gary Sanchez released and a new rookie outfielder released, corrected them on next try DJ Lemahue was released. I deleted the import, loaded the patch that was released soon after.

With the new patch I got the same results, players only on my team were being retired or let go. Tried the entire process on the third release patch with same results.

I play solo historical controlling the same team year after year.with real transactions but no real lineups.the only problem with those setting I would be notified I picked up a player I never heard of, I would look at his real stats which showed he was never on my team, and the player editor used to move him. This would happen once or twice each season.

The league I imported from V22 was the MLB with the 2016, 2017, 2018 and the first two weeks of 2019 completed. I played all of the NY Yankee games manually with all of the other teams simmed daily. I was Commissioner, GM and manager.

The only other problem I had was with all three skins, loaded and download from add on central. None of them would ever show skins.bin file so I could change the award icons, which I have done since that feature was added to the game.

I am scheduled for surgery mid week so I am unsure when I can get back to you.
