Broken Braves?

So this has happened in consecutive separate saved games. On May 28th, the Braves completely turn over the active roster and all of their star players (Acuna, Albies, Olson, etc) are just hidden somewhere. I can still see the stats from the 44 games they played, and the player page still shows that they are on the Braves, but they aren't on the active roster and don't get used for the rest of the season.

I uploaded the save file (Expansion.lg) a couple days after this has happened. Additionally, there's a screenshot of the transaction log on May 28th when their active roster changes.

I looked back in my 50-year sim and the same thing happened. None of their main players played more than 43 games. None of the main pitchers started more than 10. They went 63-99. There is nothing in anyone's history page to show what happened.

Went back to normal the next year.

Both times it was a standard game start. Unemployed, as the intention was to sim to 2023 and expand the league.

I just checked my 1st 50-year, which has before the last patch, and this did not happen.

This is fixed now. It was a bug fix in the beta patch that broke this, but it's sorted out now for the next patch.

Will this require starting a new game? Or will the next patch fix this for an existing save?

For what it's worth, I had this same experience with the same team. Already deleted the files though, so I can't prove it.

Yes and no. We will add some checks that if you are before the teams essentially deactivate their rosters it should continue virtually seamlessly. But if teams have already done roster moves like that, they will likely be able to recover but we can't be fully sure.

Follow-up question: If I have checked that, indeed, these moves have NOT happened, and I make a backup of my league now, should I be able to load my backup on patch day and continue with no issues?
