New Plays aplenty

Been playing OOTP for way too many years and 5 minutes ago playing in my franchise I just witnessed in a 3D Comerica Park a insiide-the-park homerun. I believe over the years before I ever played in the 3D mode I have never witnessed an inside the park HR even in the text....Foul balls landing just foul....just so much new stuff. THANKS OOTP

I watched my starting pitcher hit an inside the park home run the other day! Needless to say I was shocked.

Must be the years hitters would hit like 20-30 triples a year to. Although it was baseball I can't hardly refer to it the same way I do now. Go look at these guys through history and more than not these guya were small framed players. How do you think tese guys would do with Scherzer, Randy Johnson, Mariano Rivera, etc hundreds of other players pitching to them or hitting against them

Things change. A hundred years from now (if baseball is still around) some will say the same about baseball of the present generation. I enjoy reading about some of the hardships players had while growing up in the early years. I remember one story, but I have forgotten the players name, that when he was 16 spent his last dollar on a train ticket to go to an independent team 2 states away and tried out and convinced the owner to let him pitch a game. The owner agreed to give him a couple dollars if he pitched well. He pitched a 2 hitter and asked the owner for the money but the owner refused to give it to him since the team lost 1-0. There are so many similar stories from back then.
You can say the same thing about the NFL or NBA from the 1950s or 1960s when you compare them to the present day. JMO.

I've only played a handful of games in 23, and I have already had a walkoff inside-the-park home run, and a rundown executed perfectly. Of course the walkoff HR was against my team, but it was cool nevertheless. In person, I have seen one inside-the-park home run and one no-hitter, and honestly I can't say which one was more exciting. (Hard to compare three hours versus twenty seconds, of course!).
