Crashing/stuck when downloading new sim

Since yesterday evening, whenever there's a new sim available and I hit "download now," the game gets stuck on the loading screen, switching forever between the "Loading Images" and "Finalizing" steps without ever finishing the update.

This is due to the server issues we're working on fixing.
