Expansion issues

So I started a historical league (1985 IIRC). I have played until the end of 2035 with basically no issues, including two expansions (after 2030 and 2033).

Then the old computer died. I didn't play for a while, but I migrated everything to the new system, and fired up a new game just to see how things would work. Seemed fine, so I reloaded the old save. Seemed fine. There was an automatic update that I let go through, and then scheduled the last expansion (for a total of 36 teams in six even divisions).

Again, seemed fine, and I submitted my protected list and ... now we are no longer fine. I must have broke something, but I don't know what it could be.

And to report a further bug, the zipped save file will not load because I am apparently missing a security token or something.

EDIT - oh and the screen shot I included doesn't work either. Here's a ball... perhaps I can bounce it.

Assuming you don't have a backup of the league somewhere? The best thing to do here would be to go back to an earlier version of the file maybe in your backup folder and try to re-run it from there, but...if not, you might be in trouble. Doesn't sound great, but without seeing the file hard to say.

Hard to say exactly what might be going on, as it sounds like there may be multiple issues.

Probably the best thing will be to get in touch with tech support by opening a ticket or emailing support@ootpdevelopments.com, and the support team can help you work through this.

UPDATE - I think I've got it!

For some reason, one of the prior expansion teams wasn't submitting its list, so the game wouldn't advance. I don't know why since they are AI managed. But I found this out after restoring the save prior to the latest expansion, and playing (without issue) until I noticed that this team had three picks each in the first three rounds of the draft. Hmmmmm..... Lo and behold, they hadn't signed any of their top five picks of their first two drafts, because the team was operating as if it didn't have a GM at all.

So, I guess I have a different issue to report now...
