Can't take playoff off waivers

I did this with Tuesday's beta, but I have a player who I DFA'd at the start of the regular season and put on waivers. He cleared, and from the DFA window I assigned him to my AAA team but I can't get him out of my waiver window - he's there with the "CLEARED WAIVERS" designation but there's no option like there was in past to "remove player from waivers", so he's there forever I guess.

I didn't look too closely into this, but since you brought it up I did notice the same thing.

Again, I haven't yet invested enough time to really investigate if there's a fix or not. That's why I didn't bring it up. But I did have the exact same scenario.
Designated a guy. He cleared waivers. I moved him to the AAA roster. No problems with any of that,,,, but he does remain in the waiver window on the team screen

I am seeing the same thing. This used to be a problem with OOTP '22 and then they fixed it so that when you assigned the player, the waiver entry would automatically disappear.

As long as they have the cleared flag properly set, you shouldn't need to take a player off waivers. In fact, I believe this actually allows you to send them down again within a certain amount of time and not pass them through waivers again. So this is just working as intended, so far as I can see.

I don't understand the circumstances when I need to send someone down that has already been sent down?

The player has been DFA'd, cleared waivers and demoted to a minor league team. I would have thought there should be an option to remove that player from the waiver list, as there always has been?

I guess the reverse of that is that I don't understand why you'd need to take them off the waiver list as long as they're listed as having cleared?

But anyway, if this is in fact not working as it did previously, it may be a bug. I can log it as such at least, and then Matt or Markus can comment on if this is working as intended or not when they get around to that report.

There was a change to keep players on that list who have cleared recently. Sometimes it can be handy to know who's basically "pre-cleared" waivers if you are mapping out your roster for future moves. Although we certainly could refine that list potentially.

If possible, it would be good to still have the option to manually remove.
