SIERA calculation incorrect (?)

It seems like at least for past data (like 2021 season) the SIERA is not calculated correctly. The SIERA from real life websites is vastly different (like 1-1,5 more or less). E.g. The D'backs pitchers Bumgarner, Kelly, Weaver have a much better SIERA in-game for the 2021 season than the real life SIERA.

Yeah, unfortunately we don't track items in the exact same way, so the calculation runs fairly different than you may see on other sites. We'll certainly keep looking to see what we can do to better approximate it, but it will likely diverge a fair amount in a lot of cases.

The important thing is: How accurate is it in relation to the in-game simulation/calculation to predict a pitcher's ERA? Can I trust it is more accurate than FIP (like in real life)?
