Question regarding historical MILB

Hello

Since Devs declined to add pre 1915 Minors AGAIN,I would like to add my own Minors in Historical, according to Tiger fan's Guide on the 19 Histroical Sim forum.

However if I don't fold my added leagues before the game imports the Minors of the same name, will there be duplicate leagues of same name?

In my testing of this, the Texas League and PCL (as examples) seamlessly connect to the 1919 Texas League and 1921 PCL that OOTP introduces. I'll note the following caveats:

1) I did not directly follow TigerFan's process (although he and I coordinated some of our testing). Instead of manually adding these leagues, we made modifications to source files that OOTP reads from, such as milbteams.csv and milbleages.csv. This shouldn't make a difference, but I can't say with 100% certainty that it won't.

2) This testing was done in OOTP 22. I'd be surprised if something changed in OOTP 23 that would affect the answer to your question, but it's possible.

What I would suggest is to test this out. Create a game starting with, say, 1916 or 1917. Manually add the PCL and/or Texas League. Run it through the early 1920's and see if everything looks good without having to delete the leagues you created. And then report back
