TIL how hard it is to rebuild the Rockies

The NL West is nutty. IDK how the Rox or DBacks are going to compete with these teams for the next decade.

I am first in runs scored and FIP (obviously Coors inflates ERA), with a team that has:

28.1 Hitter WAR
27.5 Pitcher WAR
3 top-5 hitters at position (and only 1 below 12th)
The best bullpen you can build (3.78 ERA - and that's for Colorado)
Decent Defense (9th in NL for UZR, 2nd in errors)

Yet I'm barely going to make the WC at this pace, just to face the Dodgers and then the Giants in the playoffs. I know I can theoretically improve my defense a bit but sheesh this is a rough save to try and win with.

How has anyone else faired with this Godforsaken division?
