Ugh! What a massive pain in the butt!

I started a historical league in 1954. Finished the 1954 season and was really looking forward to the 55 season. I get to game one and all the player labels on the field are back to the default OOTP locations. It's a mess. So I have to rearrange them. The next game I go to watch is played at a different stadium. Same result, all the player labels are in the default OOTP locations.

This is crazy. I'm guessing this has something to do with me using the Historical Stadium Mod. I used the same mod when playing 21 and the only time the labels would go back to default is when a team moved to a new stadium. Rearranging every team, every season is going to be a major pain in the butt, especially because the majority of the time you have to do it twice during a nine inning game due to the idiotic change from day to night.

Yikes. Is this in the 2D mode I assume? I can’t see why they would all be reset. The historical parks should not be messed with when applying patches and stuff (I believe)

Yeah, 2D. I'm hoping maybe it's a one time deal. I will see what happens when I get to 56.

Question. Do you fiddle with locations yourself or are the ones that come with the parks all reset somehow? If you make the changes yourself, you can export each park’s “prk” file and save them off in case you lose them again. Just reimport the prk file

Yes David, he's right. What you want to do is unlock the zip file, probably on your desktop, then go into that park file and move the prk. file into the folder in your game called "models" which is in turn inside the "ballparks" folder.

Remember also to unclick the "League evolution" box, because that might be why everything reverted back when you started the second season of the league.

Never did get this figured out and really got tired of moving the labels each and every season.

Therefore, I am no longer a 2D Classic player. I now use 3D Classic. I pretty much ignore the 3D action and just read the play by play. That being said, I no longer have to waste time moving the labels, as they are perfectly located. Nor do I have to worry about the earthquake shakes, as the day night locations are the same, so the game doesn't explode at dusk.

One thing that I really hope they can fix in the future. When you start a game using 3D Classic, the labels are jacked for the first 1/2 inning every single game. They also get jacked for a 1/2 inning if you go to the lineup screen, check the box score etc. This is extremely annoying.

Yes, it has been this way a long time and it is annoying.

First of all brother welcome to 3D. It's actually fun. Second, I minimize the labels during play. By jacked I don't know if you mean they are too big.

No, I minimize them as well, but I use 3D Classic. When you start a game all the on field labels don't have the color background. Instead you just see the letters and they're not exactly readable. Once the top half of the first is over and you move to the bottom half the color backing appears. The color backing will remain there, but if you leave the game screen for any reason, the unreadable deal returns for another 1/2 inning. I noticed this happens on the Webcast screen as well.

I don't have the patience to go all the way 3D, but I have to admit it's pretty cool.
