That Cancel button is mean!

Ahh.

So. Setting up my own custom league. And I don't do mediocre things. In fact, I'm building a brand new hockey world!

After 12 hours of in depth work with Major Leagues, Minor Leagues, Junior Leagues, and Junior Farm Leagues, I just wanted to check one option before I started my new league.

So I clicked "Add New League".
Checked that option.
Decided to go back so that I don't create a league that I don't want (I haven't found any options for deleting leagues).
Clicked Previous Step.
Clicked Previous Step.

Here I only get 2 options:
* Next Step
* Cancel

Cancel what? I'm thinking it has to be Cancel the setup of this league I'm working on right now.

Clicked Cancel, and after that I probably woke up my neighboors.

It threw me right out to the Start Screen!!!

12 hours of work is lost! I'll cry myself to sleep.

Since I'm a tiny bit mad at the moment...

"Alp Region" generates about 90% teams from all over Italy, and 10% teams from Austria. I have yet to see a swiss team get generated from the Alp Region.

How do I delete a created league?

At startup, why can't I cancel the setup of a league?

When you add a league, the game gives me very different default options, based on if I'm adding the league at startup or in-game. At startup, the default options are pretty accurate to what I believe most would want (except 4 skaters in overtime). But if you add a league in-game on July 1st, it would generate default options like 5 minute periods, 1 points for wins, and odd stuff like that. Sure, everything is changeable, but having to change weird options takes unnecessary time- Both modes for adding leagues should pick up the same default options.

Why can't I create a league that has parent teams the same way ECHL has; from two leagues?

I have a game with a ton of leagues like that too, the best way to do an echl is to connect it to the biggest team is what I was told.

Oh man, that is so frustrating!! I've been there with game setups where I invested a lot of time and it all went you-know-where. Ouch!!

For some reason I keep coming back for more, which likely makes me either a glutton for punishment or someone who really enjoys the game. (When it works).

Sorry to hear about this, and hang in there, I do think it's all worth it in the end.
