Union League Baseball Openings for 2041

The ULB is looking to add a new GM/Manager for a few clubs as we head into our offseason. Openings include:

San Jose Jedi (80-82)

TAKEN

New Mexico Suns (66-96)

The Suns are firmly in the middle of a rebuild, and haven't contended for just over a decade. They do have the best outfielder in the game, but he's yet to play in a postseason game, and will become a free agent at the end of the 2041 season if he is not resigned. The Suns have some good prospects on the horizon, but will need more before they can feel good about retaking the division from the 2x reigning Federal League Champions that call their division home.

Washington Senators (95-67)

The Senators have owned their division for the last six seasons, and boast one of the more complete lineups and rotations in the Players League. They've struggled to continue their success in the Playoffs, failing to reach the Union Cup each year. This is a team built to win now, and longtime Senators fans are still waiting to see their beloved franchise loft the Union Cup in victory. Can you be the GM that finally breaks the Washington curse?

Charlotte Eagles (76-96)

The Eagles remain a floundering franchise that desperately needs a new direction. They've been bad for a long time, and while they have a nicely stocked minor league system, they've failed to put it all together for 17 seasons. There are signs of life though, as they've have a handful of good players to build around. Their pitching is not great and their best starters are approaching their 30's, meaning that time is not on their side. Their minor league system has a few stars in the making, but you'll need to acquire some outside help to finally turn these pumpkins into a carriage.

The ULB sims (7 days) Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 6PM Eastern. We utilize Stats+, as well as our Slack group for all league communication. We've simmed 45 seasons into the ULBverse's future (Started in 1995 as an Alternative league to the striking MLB, now we pit the Union Cup Champions against the World Series Champions in the Doubleday Classic) Draft picks are tradable, and the top 3 picks are determined by a draft lottery. All playoff games, ASG, etc are livesimmed. We are currently entering the offseason, so now is the perfect time to jump in and build your club into a contender. Or fail spectacularly.
