Game locks up in Historical Game

Everytime I try to play a New Historical Game, it locks up loading at the Team History and 99%

Was that with a start in a fairly late season, like post-2000? That's most likely the game just taking a while to build the player histories, it can take quite a while with the more recent seasons. Let it sit for a few minutes and it should finish on its own eventually.
