How do I use parks from different packs in one league?

I would like to mix and match some parks, but my league will only hold one pair of .dat files and each pack comes with its own.

I have tried importing, but the game will not find the parks and the message which tells me it cannot find the parks will not go away if I click ok, it only goes away when I go to some other part of the league and then I have to go back to the edit ballpark screen.

I have also tried assaigning different pictures to each park from different packs, but the game will not find the pictures, even though they are in the right folder and I make sure I get the name right.

Is this because they are not listed in the .dat file?

How do I set it up so I use some old time stadiums, some current and some of teflons?

I've tried the Stadium Editor, and found it doing some odd things. It's kind of redundant now, anyway.

If you've got the .DAT files, just create a dummy league for each set you've got, and use OOTP's built-in import/export function in the "Edit Ballpark" screens.

Be aware, though, that the game claims it puts the exported files into the EXPIMP folder, but it just tosses 'em loose into the league's main folder. Copy the exported files (they're very small) over to your new league, and import them.

Bam! New stadium set.

As long as the .BMP files are located in your "Graphics" folder, the game should find them. If the game's saying it can't find them, make sure they're not in a subdirectory. The game has problems reading LONG file/path names, so if you try directing it to "SPORTSMANSPARK1930.BMP", it'll probably return a blank picture.

Well, I have been able to export the stadiums from the dummy league, found them and put them in the expimp folder in the dummy league. tried to import in the other league and it could not find the file.

I'm still playing with it, hopefully I get it figured out...

I have not been able to find much help on this in the documentation.

i could never get the import/export thing in ootp to work , of course i didn't try real hard either.

i didn't notice anything strange about the editor Eriq.what problems did you notice so i can look-out for it.

the only problem i had with the editor was i had to manualy edit some of the stadium file names, but i think i screwed that up when i did the editing of the stadium files in the first place and i haven't messed witth it since because they all work correctly now anyway.

You can ignore the expimp folders...just copy the exported stadium files into the "desitnation" league folder, open the desitination league, and import from the same screen you exported from.

It was a while ago, and back when I was using Season Ticket Baseball (the OOTP3 version), but I don't specifically remember what was happening with it.
