RU Quarterfinals - Game 4
Lots of drama in Crystal Lake as the Skippers came all the way back to tie the series with the Pro Cup favorite Celtics at 2-2. |

Post 5031 has been updated again. However, I may or may not be able to have text in most of the areas of the main map, at least for a political/jurisdictional version of it, just so you know, jg2977. The areas of water that are currently outside the main mass or the islands, however, at least, could probably have text visible for them, at least at this scale, if not other scales as well.
Please let me know if you want me to have at least three nations covering the areas seen above, if not at least five to ten nations covering them here. Currently, we have eight overall divisions in your IPA. Maybe if we had multiple nations besides the two nations we have currently for your IPA, we could give each nation a division to work with, instead, and go from there. Please keep me posted here on your thoughts here, then, of course. Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm sure. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, then. That's all for this post, then, I think, jg2977. CD out.

Okay, very well, then, two nations it is. The dot is where New Yerby will be. All other cities and towns and whatnot will be situated where they end up being here, with the main landmass centered on New Yerby, at least.
I'll probably need someone to help make physical maps for your nations here, but if that's the case, then so be it. Looks like most of the areas in the northern nation will be larger on average than those in the southern nation, at this point. When I get to the regional maps, I will work from the center out, I think, and go from there as needed and as possible and as appropriate, as best as I possibly can. Hopefully by the end of the 1980 postseason, at the very latest, all the needed political areas will be named and IPA team locations will be well-established on the map or maps in question here. With more than eighty possible areas likely that will need to be named here, if not at least a hundred such areas, it could be quite likely that certain areas may not actually have any IPA teams for them, while others may have more than one, just as easily, depending on the size of each relevant area of the map or maps in question. But if either of those things, if not both of those things, ultimately do prove to be the case here, then so be it, of course. Talk more later as time permits and all, then, jg2977 and others who may be following this thread. Thank you all for your time and attention and all here, of course. That is all for this post here, at least, I suppose. CD out.

New map for jg2977 so far (With potential colors for divisional locations)
Actually, here's another map showing where I think the various divisions could have their teams come from. One color for each division, and then we can decide where to place each team in those overall colored areas. Of course, I still will need to zoom in for the regional maps and all, for sure. But at least you will have a better idea of where I think each division should ideally draw their teams from here, in any case, jg2977.
Light green for the RU West. Dark green for the RU North. Dark purple for the RU South. And light purple for the RU East, in terms of teams for the Ruthlandian Union. Light orange for the TU North. Yellow for the TU East. Pink for the TU South. And red for the TU West, in terms of teams for the Tycobbian Union. I think we can perhaps call the interconnected lakes in the middle of Tycobbia the Great Lakes of Islandia. And there should be about nine or ten of them, I believe, if I'm not too mistaken here. Or at least five of them here, in any case. Please let me know what you think here, then, if you don't mind too much, of course, jg2977. I'd like to know your thoughts about these maps more as time passes. Thank you for your time and all, then, for sure. CD out.

That looks really nice, and the colors of the different regions help it make sense. I figured that the dot in the middle would be New Yerby (almost like the center of the baseball world in this universe).
The Great Lakes of Islandia is a nice touch. It's akin to the Great Lakes here in America. If I think of any ideas I will let you know. |

Where do you perhaps think Loch Tamranth and Buxline Pond should both be on the map, jg2977? Also, where do you think a place called Cenorias should perhaps most likely be located, with it being at the base of a canal, a stadium being a key location in it, and it being an area at least fairly well-known for the training of certain rare animals, brewing of some kind (whether for tea, coffee, and/or alcoholic beverages), and jewelry? Just wondering, that's all. CD out.
