Fatal Application Exit

I haven't made any system changes between yesterday, when I last exited the game, and today.

However, I try to start the game up after seeing that there a <100kb update and I get the following error box:

ootp22_x64.exe - Fatal Application Exit

APP_FRAMEWORK::startup - unable to create the folder 'saved_games'. Please reinstall Out of the Park Baseball.

What? I can see the saved game in the Saved Games folder. What's going on? Never had this problem before.

Looks like it was a false alarm. It appears my system restarted during a power outage and not all of my external drives loaded. Crisis hopefully averted.
