Who cares if it's still running. Any facade that it was anything but some sick joke where you continued to display your rampid disregard for anything but your team's performance has ended. Anyone who goes anywhere near this forum knows you for exactly what you are, a cheating, lieing, attention whore, which at one point was comical, now is nothing more than annoying. So as easy as it is to rack up posts in your nonsense, I've had it. So please move along to the AOL teen chat room or whereever it is you can find anyone stupid enough to join a league you run.

Yeah, I'm not real sure why Willis is getting a free pass on this as well. As you said, this is (at least) the third time the league has been started in some shape or another, and his has yet to make it a season in any of them. I guess if you choose your associates well, anyone can look good in comparison. I thought that two procedures were in place to keep the league on the up-and-up. I didn't really see either of them happen.

1. Fit Dog would not be running the sims.

I will sim games. So if anything comes up, it will be on me. Not him.
2. A fail proof system so that nobody, commishses included have a way of cheating.

I don't see why Big Willis is getting off easy here either. He starts a league with a known cheater and a month later makes the above statement. Shouldn't you make sure you have time to run a league before you start it?

I still wouldn't be surprised to find out that Fit Dog and Big Willis are the same person.

Means "real" as well as "royal". However, the better name for this league should have been "Béisbol Para Reales Gilipollas", so it seems.

I don't think you should let the stain of the "Real Beisbol" name stop you from taking over this league. Just becasue the domain name is realbeisbol.com doesn't mean you can't name it something else, potatoman.

Introduce the league with a new name. I also suggest that you do start over with a new league file, though.

Excellent. I believe you are onto it here.

I hope there is a mod who can investigate and rule out this truly odious possibility.

Wait wait wait. What did I miss? Did mfitterer cheat again in addition to the rest of this? Are you serious?

I think it was obvious he was trading with himself again.

He made a trade that was hugely in his favor with another team. The trouble was that the other team could not post his approval because the other team’s GM was "having trouble logging on" to the message board.
The GM in question was finally able to log on well after the trade only to tell the league that he broke his arm and would have to quit the league. 15 minutes later, the "new" team's GM logged on to announce he was gleefully taking over and could not wait to compete in this excellent league. Although the trade was ridiculously lopsided in Marlins/Fitterer's favor and the league was begging for the trade to be voided unless the new GM also agreed, the commish told them to quit their "whining" and the trade would stand.

Wow. A pathological cheater. I guess that no matter how incredible it sounds, millions of people are still victimized in pyramid schemes and other forms of corruption. No matter how many times you tell someone "You'll never send in your Columbia House selections that you don't want and you'll be stuck buying a CD that sucks," they are still convinced that 10 CDs for a penny plus $14.95 shipping and handling is a great bargain. There is no such thing as a free lunch, folks. Yes, listening to a buy-a-timeshare spiel is more painful than a free 20" television is pleasant. No, fat-free ice cream does not have substantially fewer calories. The phone company is purposely misstating your bill because they know you will just pay it and they will realize millions in undeserved revenue. Rebate forms are deliberately difficult to follow because they desperately hope that you will not send it in.

Why should OOTP users be any different. Even when you know a cheater is a cheater is a cheater, it is difficult to really comprehend the extent of the pathology. I would pity all of you, if I believed in pity.

Two things:

1. I certainly don't think BigWillis and the Car Wash Kid (sorry, I just can't think of him as Fit Dog) are the same person. When I was in the UBL, Willis applied for an expansion team and his application showed at least rudimentary familiarity with such concepts as the sentence and the paragraph, thus ruling out the possibility that he is the Car Wash Kid.

That said, it was unwise in the extreme to associate with a proven cheater... I think it would be wise to avoid online leagues in which Willis is involved in a managerial capacity.

2. I always, always, ALWAYS fall for the 12 CDs for a penny. And I've been stuck buying the crappy CD more than once.

Since they've allowed it to be done on the net, I haven't gotten an unwanted CD yet.
