New Retro MLB 1974 League Starting

Hi,
I am planning to start a new online league, the WPORBL, that will be starting out with 1974 Historic MLB league. The league will be "as is" starting at the beginning of 1974 and then we will run into MLB's first free agency. GM's will choose their starting MLB teams as of opening day 1974. Folks who have joined up by EOD Sunday February 6 will be put into a lottery to pick your team. The pace of play is planned for daily sims with 2 days per sim. The league is using StatsPlus and I will have that piece set up, I hope, by EOD Friday Feb 4. I want to get all teams under human ownership before we get going and get any/all questions answered too.

The league is growing in membership. I think we have 13 guys so far and are going for a full 24.
This league will be running at a slower pace than many - daily 2 day sims. The league will complete about 2 seasons per year. We want to savor each season rather than blitz through history.

We have openings! If retro MLB baseball starting in 1974 is your interest now is the time to get in to WPORBL.

Currently, the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox, and Kansas City Royals are open for GM's. It's still only the 1st week of the season (and we sim daily but only 2 days of game time per sim) so plenty of time and opportunity to tailor the team to YOUR design.
