Pitcher upgrade this time... The Curtis picture had a smile but I don't think it's that visible so I kept the upgrade because I really like the result.

*NEVERMIND, I figured it out!

I'm on my friend's PC and created a facegen with the Facegen Modeller I downloaded, but how do I convert it from an .xml so the face actually shows up in the game? Any help I'd greatly appreciate!

Unless you play with the minor league enable he will never be in your game, but since we want to include minor leaguers too and the picture was good.

Just felt like sharing my current team since I take so many of the great facegens shared here. I'm currently managing the 1912 Cardinals. Is there any facepack that includes players that never made the majors? I know that's a lot of players, but the game makes fictional faces for them, and sometimes they don't fit the era (see Herb Benham in the lower right).

When is Facegen going to let people add some hair? Everybody has the same haircut, with nothing showing out from under the cap.

Man I want this so bad! I wish OOTP would allow us to add a hair layer behind the facegen file to do it ourselves and people could make mods for them!

It's possible with the commercial version... but it's 300$ and I think that wouldn't make a difference in the game.

Not that I know of... the focus is more on the Major since many aren't that good.

I don't play with the minor league (doesn't worth it to me without real transaction for those teams) so I don't touch those players... unless I find a very good pictures.

Any hair would have to be like the facial hair where in OOTP you can add it. So if there were say, a dread one, that could be put around a "typical" face, that could be one approach. You'd likely need dreads (very thin), dreads (thin), dreads (typical) and so on to extra wide head. With head size being a variable, it's harder to do I think than a fake mustache. I have the commercial version of facegen and it does let you add hair but it is an add-on as if I were taking a screenshot - and it does not carry over to the fg file... so it doesn't appear in the game.

That's a bummer that it doesn't let you carry the hair over to the fg file. There are some players that just don't look like themselves with the plain hairstyles in OOTP.

Did my very first facegen, many more to come hopefully. Did a pre-moustache Reggie Jackson. Tried closing the lips and not making him smile, well, he's still smiling. I've got a lot of learning to do. Changed the name of the facegen as not to overwrite.

The smile is the hardest part to correct... you can play with the mouth - lips thin/thick slider, but not too much or the mouth will look weird. There was a "cleaning" slider in the old version of FG modeller that was useful for this, but to a certain point since too much cleaning resulted in what I call a generic facegen.

Of course the best option is no smiling picture but sometimes it's impossible to find one.
