No way for teams to get promoted from HockeyTvåan at the moment, the lowest playable is the Allsvenskan, so teams can be promoted from Hockeyettan, but there's no movement below that. The easiest way to get a HockeyTvåan team into a promotable position would be to edit the data of one of the Hockeyettan teams to the HockeyTvåan team, and vice-versa. There's no way to directly control which team gets promoted, though.

Arena data can be edited in commissioner mode, on the team edit screen. You need to click Save at the top-right corner after making the changes, or it'll revert when you leave the screen.

Check their player profile. Is their Junior Preference setting on College or Junior? If that's not it, what nationality are you creating them with?

North Korea and South Korea,both 14 years old
and their have no preferences

Try editing them onto North Korean U14/South Korean U14 teams right after you create them - that's where game-generated players will appear; I think the game may be having a little difficultly placing a non-European/North American free agent of that age properly, since it doesn't normally encounter them.

Ok, so I have to create Varberg Vipers all over again? If so, a way to move teams between divisions should be top priority IMO

Also, you never answered this question. Is there a way to use someone elses fictional league?

First of all thank you for this game. The development of this series over the years is quite remarkable.

Is there any possibility to export data and/or filter in-game for attributes such as contract details (salary, contract length, cap hit) or role ratings? I've read the manual, but I wasn't able to figure out which player takes faceoffs in 4v4, 3v3, 4v3 PP, PK. Is there a way to determine who takes the faceoffs? It would make tactics much easier if there were some kind of jpgs/gifs to show what happens on the ice (in-game). Some descriptions are quite ambiguous to non native speakers like me.

I recently got FHM8 (as recently as last night), and was having a look at the Fictional League option. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to add some fictional leagues that would operate alongisde existing leagues? I'd be looking to makes the leagues in Slovenia/Croatia/Kazakhstan/Hungary and Estonia but would still like to be able to access the other leagues in Europe. Is this possible, or is it a case of fictional leagues operate in their own standalone world so to speak?

You cannot add custom leagues to a standard game.

Yes, it does. There'll be ratings changes in pretty much every update aside from hotfixes, we're working on the database year-round.

To export data, go to the World Menu and select Export to CSV, that'll give you a set of data files in the save folder's \import_export subfolder.

No way to filter for contract details or role ratings at the moment, but we can take a look at adding that (role ratings might be a little slow to filter, though, as they're generated when you look at the player and aren't stored separately.)

The first forward listed on PK/4on4/3on3 lines will usually take the faceoff.

Just looking through the new special abilities content, (thanks for that BTW), and I'm not seeing anything related to a shooting bonus. We've got shooting accuracy that can be edited in the player attributes screen, but nothing pertaining to how 'hard' or fast the shot is.

Pretty much everything else seems to be covered, so I'm wondering if this is a deliberate oversight? (Maybe it was tested but it skewed the stats too much)...
