Minors problem

In trying to start replaying my Cubs 2012 schedule, I believe I have all the Game Settings identical to those of the 2011 season, the difference being that 2012 is showing relatively few minor leaguers (and with strange team names), whereas 2011 had the real names (Iowa Cubs, etc.) and a lot more players. Why do I get different results with the same settings . . . or did I screw something up that I'm unaware of? Thanks!
