Historical League to the Future

So I have started a 2015 Historical league and have setup automatic league expansion, disable real life transactions, I just want it to basically be default OOTP but in 2015. My question is when then 2022 season rolls around and there are no historical draft classes or international free agents, will my league generate fictional players? Do I need to change any setting to make this happen?

I noticed that the disable automatic generation of multiple player types is disabled, which makes since. Will this auto switch when the time comes or will I need to go through and do this manually? And if so what all should I change to make sure this works.
