Historical game - Teams offering pick of previous draft

Using version 8.5 build 81

I started a game in 1992 and simmed until 1993. I then started playing as the Anaheim Ducks in July 1993.

On July 3rd, I shopped Babych and some teams offered me draft picks for a previous draft (1992).

I uploaded the save file by FTP under the name: 334531.lg.zip

Looks like it's actually 1993 draft picks - if you accept one of the trades, it'll give you that roound's pick in the 1993 draft. We'll have a look at why it's reporting the wrong year.

I think there may be two issues or it may be related to the scenario described below:

I'm currently at the start of round 10 in the 1993 draft.

So, the offered picks (being 1993 picks after completing the trade) "have been used" at the time I opted to shop the player. Trading for one of them wouldn't allow me to use the draft pick.

In the save I submitted, I did these actions last:
1) Click "Pick until human" after my pick in round 9
2) Shopped Dave Babych
3) Reviewed the trade proposals in the news
4) Saved my game, closed FHM 8 entirely and zipped it to be sent by FTP
