Fix for High Resolution Displays with Mac OS Monterey

If you upgraded your mac to OSX Monterey and noticed you cannot run OOTP in full screen on a high resolution monitor, you can do the following to fix:

1. Close the game
2. Open a terminal and type:
sudo nano /Applications/OOTP\ Baseball\ 22.app/Contents/Info.plist

3. Add the following line to this file at the bottom above the line that says </dict>
<key>NSHighResolutionCapable</key><false/>

4. Save the file and reopen the game

Hope this helps others

When I add the text and save and restart the game it quits unexpectedly. I bought the game via the Mac App Store

I don't understand these steps. Also it asks for a password but it will not allow me to type anything in. How do I even save the file? I'm new to Mac so this is all very confusing.

The password is your admin password that you type in when you start your Mac.

It won't even allow me to put the password in. I wish my MacBook didn't come with this OS.

NOTE: although this fix works, it only works until the next time that OS X verifies the code signature of the application and then it crashes with:

Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGKILL (Code Signature Invalid))

We are going to need an actual fix from OOTP for this one.

You have to re-apply the fix each time OS X verifies the code signature. It's a pain that you have to do this each time. I only apply the fix when I update stadiums within the game.

OOTP needs to provide an actual fix for this for Mac OSX users with Monterey.

The OS launched 4 months ago and still no actual fix from OOTP? Has this issue been present since Monterey launched?

I guess permanent fix for this it would appear.

I'm trying to follow the steps that were posted but when I'm in a terminal and type in "sudo nano /Applications/OOTP\ Baseball\ 22.app/Contents/Info.plist" No where do I see anything that says "</dict>
<key>NSHighResolutionCapable</key><false/>"
