Most of my IPA and South Island League graphics are created by other people like low, txranger, knuckler and other skilled graphics designers and they all use shadings. I could be wrong, but I don't know of any of my teams that don't have shadings. |

Yes, No Pepper is one of the best graphics artists around here, for sure. Also, he's much more experienced than I am. But I still need to work on my graphics skills and all every so often, if I can't manage to make any real progress with other things I periodically try to work on, too, for sure. I may never be as good as many others here, but at least I may be getting better than I was with such things, of course.
I'm not totally satisfied with a number of items I've done recently, whether for any of your teams or not, in truth. I'll probably need to work on them more later, as time allows and all, I think. But we'll have to see what happens for me and for them, of course, later on, in any case. Talk more later, as time allows and all, I'm sure. Lord willing and all, that is, you know, EC. CD out.

5 GB storage limit for free on Onedrive, it seems. Not quite sure what the limit is on Google Drive at the moment for free storage, Eugene. CD out.

CD, you are much better now than you were a few months ago... your graphics skills are improving... you are making better choices for colors than you used to... you are becoming a little more traditional in your tastes and styles. Keep practicing and you will get better. |

My take on the San Antonio Cowboys
Here's my take on the San Antonio Cowboys so far, in terms of uniforms and caps, but I'll probably need some help later on with logos, of course. Please feel free to comment on these items if and when you like within fair and just reason, folks. The font used is IFC WILDRODEO, and most of the colors, if not all of them, were either from the NBA San Antonio Spurs' colors or modified from them to at least a small degree, in terms of the colors that they've used in their history as a pro basketball franchise. That is all. CD out.

A new map for a fictional country
Here's another somewhat basic map for a fictional country I hope to include in at least one of my dynasties, past, present, and/or future, inspired by the television show The Dukes of Hazzard. In my games, it most likely will be referred to as Hazzard, the Republic of Hazzard, the Hazzardian Republic, or something similar to any or all of those designations. But if I ever decide to include its landmasses in any of my original fiction stories that I do plan to try and publish for actual monetary profit in the future, it will be called Kofvulm or the Republic of Kofvulm, the Kofvulmian Republic, or something similar, most likely, so I wouldn't illegally infringe on Warner Brothers' copyright with such stories of mine, of course.
Anyway, here is the map in question that I just spent some time making for reference purposes, at least. Although I haven't decided yet just how close it might be to either Jatrela or Prokiru, if not both, in truth, for the same ocean will surround all three nations here, in any case. I'll have to determine that later, especially if Hazzard/Kofvulm has at least one league present in any dynasty with Prokiru and/or Jatrela present in it as well, at least, if not more than one. Talk more later as time permits and all, then, folks. Lord willing and all, you know, that is. That's all for now, and I hope you like this somewhat basic map here as well. Although I'll probably have to continue working on it every so often here, I think. CD out.

My take on the Duluth Bulldogs (Part 001)
Here are four uniforms I've made so far for the future Duluth Bulldogs of the NABA. More uniforms may follow later, but I've not yet decided whether or not to make them here for sure. Four caps I've made for them so far will certainly be in the next post, though, in any case. That is all. CD out.

Here are four caps I've made so far for the future Duluth Bulldogs of the NABA. More caps may follow later, but I've not yet decided whether or not to make them here for sure. At least for now, if they're present in any of my dynasties now, I'll use the Bulldog head logo that UMD has used in the past for its athletics teams, I think, but I'll still probably want at least one new logo for them in the future, at some point, of course. That is all. CD out.

My take on the Columbus Explorers
My take on the Columbus Explorers so far. I don't have any matching logos for them yet, mind you, but here's what I still have just made for them so far in regards to their prospective uniforms and caps, at least. Please feel free to comment as you like and can here, within fair and just reason, of course, folks. That is all. CD out.

My take on the Missouri Trekkers
Here's my take on the Missouri Trekkers so far, at least uniforms and caps-wise, although I will certainly need some logos made for them later on, probably by someone else, of course. Please feel free to comment on these items as you might like and can, within fair and just reason, then, folks. That is all. CD out.

The Duluth Bulldogs is excellent... one of the best sets you have ever done... I would use them in one of my leagues.
The black and gold colors really look good... the scarlet/red and gold really looks good. I really like the black jersey and the scarlet/red jersey, but don't care for the gold jersey.... but that's just my taste... however, the gold jersey looks OK... I'm sure people that like gold will like it... I like gold as a secondary color. The Columbus Explorers and Missouri Trekkers are just average... technically well done, but just not what I like in color combinations and styles. Well, the colors of UMD are similar to those of the University of Minnesota, seeing as they're part of the same state university system. The colors I used above are probably slightly different from what UMD typically uses for their uniforms and all, I believe, but I wanted to change things up at least a little bit there from what UMD might use now, for the NABA-related Duluth Bulldogs, or might have used in the past.
Eriq Jaffe did a couple of items related to the UMD Bulldogs quite some time ago, but I wanted to try to get at least a little bit away from what he did for them, for this team, if I possibly could do so, though not totally away from it. Especially seeing as he only did a cap and only one uniform for them, in his Division II-related thread, it seems. I think they'll look fairly good in my Universal Baseball Legends dynasty in comparison to many of the teams in its NABA setup. I'm currently working on several teams for that dynasty's version of the NABA, and I still have the following teams I will need to find or make items for, most likely: Hawaii Islanders (Need all, preferred colors are orange, blue, and red/Likely to do uniforms and caps) Houston Stars (Need all, designer's choice of colors, et cetera) Jupiter Thunderbolts (Need all, preferred colors are brown, red, and orange (?)) Los Angeles Directors (Need all, designer's choice of colors, et cetera) Los Angeles/Mankato Sharks (Need all, preferred colors are purple, black, and green/Likely to do uniforms and caps) Madison Anglers (Need all, preferred colors are red, black, and silver (?)/Likely to do uniforms and caps) Sioux Falls Warriors (Need all, preferred colors are purple, yellow, and blue/Likely to do uniforms and caps) Topeka Twisters (Need all, designer's choice of colors, et cetera) Toronto Mounties (Need all, preferred colors are blue, red, and gray/Likely to do uniforms and caps) These teams will eventually be part of the NABA in my Earth Baseball Association dynasty, at least, if not any other dynasty as well for any version of OOTP that I have at any time. That's supposing I can ever advance far enough for them to be, of course, or start late enough that they will be there from the start of the relevant dynasty at a particular time, anyway. Thank you for your kind comments and all, EC. They're very much appreciated as always, you should know by now. Until the above teams come into the NABA, however, they'll likely be in what is now the USBA for a while, at least, in terms of my Earth Baseball Association dynasty, in any case. Talk more later, as time allows and all, Lord willing, then, for sure. Until then, I'll close this particular post here, at least, though. CD out.

With the Trekkers, I was perhaps inspired by both the Missouri Tigers and Star Trek, at least a little bit, if not a lot, when doing these items. Plus my notes related to them for years have had them listed as a black, yellow, and red team, as far as their main color scheme, it seems.
I was born in Columbia, Missouri, in February 1973, in fact. My birthday is less than five weeks away now, as well. I will be 49 on the 11th, Lord willing, for sure. I didn't totally want to use Mizzou or Trek-style color shades, I believe, but still wanted to use similar colors to them, in any case. In certain dynasties, the Trekkers would ideally begin play in the 1965 season as part of the NABA's Victory League, starting in its Western Division. But for the Earth Baseball Association's timeline, we'll have to see what happens with the franchise that will ultimately end up there in time, if possible, of course. Thank you for your commentary and all here, Eugene. Hope to see a lot more of it in the future here. Lord willing and all, that is, of course. CD out.

I also like the Duluth Bulldogs set very much. I would prefer it with lighter shading, just my opinion. I think you did a good job with the Missouri Trekkers as well.

I once lived near Duluth, and would sometimes watch the UMD hockey games on TV, around the time Brett Hull, for instance, played for them in college before he went to the Flames. While the colors I used for the NABA-related version of the Bulldogs may not be exactly like the ones UMD's teams use/used, et cetera, I tried to stay somewhat close to them, if not use the exact colors they do/did, in any case. I eventually moved out of the area with my family, though, and haven't lived near Duluth ever since. I've spent much of my life in Minnesota, in fact, at that.
Minnesota can be rather cold and snowy in winter, for sure. In summer, though, it can be nice at times, in places, it seems to me. I've only lived in a few areas of it, so I can't tell you just what it's like personally in other areas of the state I've not been in for a long enough time, if at all, as well. It was fun being in northeastern Minnesota when I went to a summer youth camp called Camp Buckskin in 1990 for about a month, but I wasn't living around there at the time. I started work on developing Slaabovia and other settings around that time, if not at that exact time. As for the following summer, I worked for a couple of months based out of St. Croix State Park near Hinckley, Minnesota, as a Corpsmember for the Minnesota Conservation Corps. I met a number of very nice people then, and I'm still in fairly regular contact with two of them, even after more than 30 years of knowing them now, for sure. I have seen a good deal in my life, and met a lot of people, but I don't get out much, if at all, especially seeing as I can't drive, among other reasons. Basically, I don't really associate with many people in reality, unless it's online, now, in truth. And while Kaneva is no more, I still remember it quite well, and I miss talking to a lot of people from there, of course. Fortunately, I have found this place online, and I'm generally glad to be here and have more people to talk to now in my life, who I probably wouldn't have ever had a chance to, if certain things had not happened for me and/or them since I first came here. People like EC, for example. I'm glad to be able to get to know him better in my life, as more time passes for us both in our lives, and I try to thank God every chance I get for the ability to get to know more about this world and more about people through the Internet than I probably ever would have learned without the Internet ever existing, for sure. Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm sure, folks. Lord willing and all, of course, that is, you know. CD out.

I might soon try to do many items for several prospective teams based in several, if not all, of the cities shown on the above map for the Hazzardian AKA Kofvulmian Republic. For instance, I have in mind team names like the Coltrane City Coalers and the Jefferson Bankers, among others, to name just two of them.
I don't know just yet what colors I'll actually come to use for each of them, and if there will also be multiple levels in a single overall league-related framework, or not. But I'm thinking perhaps having at least two or three overall leagues in Hazzard/Kofvulm, with a minimum of 48 teams existing in the nation, if not more. Don't know just how many yet, or what leagues will be present in it, but I'm thinking no more than 12-16 teams per league setup, in any case, for sure. I have names and locations in mind for at least 48 teams, and some places may actually be the home location for more than one team, as well. Just because I only have 40 places currently marked on the map above, that doesn't mean they'll necessarily be the only places with teams in the nation, of course. We'll have to see if I add more places to the map later on, though, folks. I'll certainly write more later, I'm sure, as time allows and all, if and whenever possible, then. Lord willing and all, you know. But not right now, for I now have a few things to do for a bit here, it seems. CD out.

These are looking good CD. Your skills are improving and limiting the colors make more of your uniforms more streamlined and appealing to others.
I really like the Bulldogs and the San Antonio jerseys. With San Antonio we usually see gray as the base color like the Spurs. Your jerseys take that base and add some popping colour to them. Keep up the great work!! |

Well, rocknfire7, many of my teams are from fictional or semi-fictional nations and/or cities, for instance. So what most would probably consider more traditional looks and styles and all probably wouldn't work well for teams in those places or with certain names. For real-world team locations and/or team names, certain looks and/or styles would be more likely to work well, of course, I think. And those places would probably often require more traditional looks, colors, and/or styles than if they were from other non-real places, et cetera.
My fictional lands and/or places, for instance, might often have certain traditions of their own, which aren't necessarily quite like those of real-world lands and/or places in certain ways, in truth. In Slaabovia, for example, the use of multiple colors is often quite common in society, when it comes to clothing items, at least, that people often wear. Hence the frequent presence of several colors on a number of the items for various Slaabovian teams, whether I've previously posted them on the forums or not here. Thank you for your kind comments, and I didn't realize I actually have a certain font called San Antonio when I made the items seen above for the future San Antonio Cowboys. I may eventually create items for them using that font, closer to the 1970s or 1980's, though. But that's about a hundred seasons from now, if I go with my notes related to the NABA closely enough, it seems, at least as far as things relate to my Earth Baseball Association-related dynasty here. If you want to try and do some more logos suitable for either the 1871-1900 or 1901-1925 to 1930 era, for the teams I've already posted at least recently in this thread that may still need them, please feel quite free to do so, based on the looks already posted for them all, then. I'd love to see what else you can come up with here for them, if possible. I saved the Scouts-related logos you did earlier, but the current year in the EBA-related dynasty is 1876, while in the Freeman 001 Dynasty and the Good Times Baseball dynasty, at least, the current year is or the current years are in the 1900s. So the logos you made for them do not quite fit at the moment, unfortunately. Think you could perhaps make some logos for them that are more suitable for the applicable timeframe or timeframes here, please? Thanks again for your time and attention and all here, then, rocknfire7. It's very much appreciated by me, for sure. CD out.

What's the difference between txranger's two new versions of the secondary logo for LaGrange's Gators? I can't really see any difference between them both at the moment, Eugene. CD out.
