Installing 2.5

When I try to install the .27 patch, I get an error that elicen40.dll not found. yet that file is in my game folder.

Bought the game and installed it. When I try to patch it, I get the elicen error.

The config file should be at

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Out of the Park Developments\Title Bout Championship Boxing 2.5

Note that you may not have a roaming folder, the OOTP folder may be directly under AppData

If you open the config file there should be an entry towards the top that says ProgPath= followed by a file location. That location is where the elicen40.dll needs to be.

That is the location where it currently is located, and I'm getting the error when i try to install the patch

I don't believe that you need to install the patch. Just copy and paste the .27 executable into the game directory to overwrite the one that's already there.

OK. I've installed the game successfully and applied the patch. However, I'm thinking it's not compatible with my version of Windows 10. When asked if I want to update the database (fighter data records, rating records and biography records), i get the following error message: "Error importing .....: Data token missing"

The location of the database has changed since 2.5 came out. You'll need to follow the steps here:
