Perfect Draft Blues
I took second in a daily recently and then like nine awful drafts in a row. Catchers with 12 defense. Getting burned late consistently. Then, today, finally a good one. Two great arms in the 12th round. I decide to wait on reserve infield despite not having any. It has been mostly single position eligible guys so far and there should be something to grab. I mean, it's only my reserves, right?

I got caught out like that recently also on back up infielders in the 13th.
Laughed at myself. |

Yes
This frustration has really turned me off the perfect drafts. The last screen should have 8 position players with each a different primary position, and 4 pitchers - 2 lefties and two righties, with one of each hand a starter and the other a reliever.
And none of this stuff where the guy's listed as a (say) CF and his rating at one or more other positions is significantly better. |

My solution to this was to propose a 14th free agency round, where you can patch major flaws in your roster with playable but not superb substitutes. There are lots of interesting ways to develop this.

Agreed as sometimes I'll just have to wing it without a back up.
