Converting multi-player save to singeplayer

Dear FHM developers!

I have following problem: Stupid me, thinking that one day I might want to control more teams, started a standard save as a multi-player league. However, now in season 2 I realized that in multiplayer saves you can not control staff and lines of your AHL farmteam. Also adding a second gm to take control of your ahl team is not possible... So my question: Is it somehow possible to turn my save into a singleplayer save or any other way I can have more control over my AHL farmteam?

There's no way to convert a multi-player save back to single-player, but you should be able to take control of the minor league team with a separate GM. What happens when you try that?

I am getting the message "It is not possible to manage farm teams in an online league..." (attached the whole message as screenshot).

I click on cancel, then on ok (without changing anything) and all of a sudden now my NHL GM profile gets control over the Montreal Canadiens and the manager I just created to take control of my AHL team is the GM of the New York Islanders (see second attached picture).
