Mexico City Diablos Farm team Request ...
I see your point, now ... Credit should have been given to ISEDELYOD for the jerseys I initially posted.
Txranger, your work is incredible! You should do a youtube tutorial on how to make these uniforms, caps and logos. Until then, if at all possible, and you obviously can say no if the project doesn't appeal to you, can you please make 1980s style primary and secondary logos, home and away uniforms and caps for my five farm teams. They are: (1) Phoenix Sun Devils (2) Raleigh Red Devils (3) Danville (Virginia) Blue Devils (4) Tri-City Dust Devils (5) Brooklyn DareDevils Thanks again! Here, are my thoughts on what I envision the logos and uniforms would look like for the teams listed above.
Phoenix: the logos/uniforms would be similar to what Arizona State uses. Raleigh: I found a cool interlocking RD logo used by the Canterbury Red Devils, which you can see below. Danville: Perhaps using the cursive D used by Duke University or the possibly the red D you see below, changed to blue. Or, you could simply use the D used in the RD logo. Tri-City Dust Devils: See the final two images pictured below for inspiration, or you can use the D from the Raleigh logo and make the two D's interlock, or simply use one D with a little number 2 on the top right, indicating squared. DareDevils: My reasoning for this team/name is based on a Marvel comic book by same name. Most Marvel comics are set in NY, which is why I chose Brooklyn, but really the team could be based in another city that fits or sounds better. For the cap logo, you could probably repeat what you did above with the DustDevils, but perhaps with a different color scheme. Totally, your call on this. I trust your creative juices more than I trust mine. Thank you, txranger! Last edited by izman99; 12-13-2021 at 03:51 PM. |

World Baseball Cup
Some time ago, raysox at sportslogos.net, came up with an interesting concept: what if a tournament similar to the World Baseball Classic began play in March of 1953, rather than 2006.
In raysox' historical-fiction universe, the "World Baseball Cup" takes place every four years, with a different country serving as the host, and the teams playing in ballparks that were available at the time. Raysox simulated 10 World Baseball Cup tournaments from 1953 through 1989, and created historically consistent tournament logos as well as baseball caps and jerseys for each of the participating teams. A total of eight teams participated in the inaugural tournament and by 1989 there were 12 countries that competed for the coveted Cup. His work, which is both meticulous and creative, can be found here. As an example, pictured below is raysox' take on the caps and, as you would expect, pullover jerseys used by Puerto Rico during the 1973 tournament, which took place just a few months after the death of baseball great Roberto Clemente, and appropriately enough includes a commemorative patch! Sadly, raysox' work is not in a format which is recognized by the OOTP game and, I simply do not have the skill set to create the ballparks, jerseys, caps and logos. So, I am turning to the OOTP community in the hopes that, with your help, we can make this happen. Also, if we were to focus only on a particular decade, this would not be a large undertaking by any stretch of the imagination. For example, during the 1970s, only 10 different countries participated in the tournament, while an additional five countries competed during the 1980s. That's just 15 teams . Thanks for reading and, if you are able, for helping out with the work that needs to be done! Last edited by izman99; 12-17-2021 at 04:15 PM. |

WBC Continued
I have also attached below the caps used by the participating countries in 1953 and in 1989, as well as the tournament logos raysox created.

I'm not speaking for txranger because he's quite capable of doing that for himself

TX, this is a great Miami set. Would it be possible for you to use this M image for a logo and make it orange using the same orange color already used in the set?
