Leagues Where OOTP is not Required

I was wondering if there were any leagues out there where OOTP isn't required. I have OOTP4 but I stopped playing for a while when OOTP5 came out, now I want to get back into leagues and I don't want to spend the money when the next version will be out soon. So is there any league where I can operate without the game until the next version?

I'd agree that 5 or 6 months is fairly soon.

In my league, I'd rather be harassed than not receive any at all. I have yet to find anyone without the game that constantly emails lineups that doesn't get bored, sick of it, or just lazy.

Well I was in a few leagues with OOTP4 and I was very active so I hope that will carry through.

Go leech elsewhere. $35 is cheaper than most of the games out there and I'm sure that you have games. If I am wrong, I'm sorry. You're deprived. The game is required for you to know how it works. Otherwise, you are just hurting your team and your league.

But, at least you aren't as cheap as the others that try to get free ID's.

As some of you are bashing those without the game you are just making broad generalizations on what some are saying. Personally, I do not own the game but, have remained active in SEVERAL LEAGUES only to have them ruined by those with the game. Currently, I am in the Westwood Baseball League www.wbl.ootp-leagues.com, and I am running the Colorado Rockies. We are now in the off-season prior to the 2006 season, I have been hear from the start. I have maintained a winn-ups either email or with the help of those who own the gam

We are now in the off-season prior to the 2006 season, I have been hear from the start. I have maintained a winn-ups either email or with the help of those who own the game. I post on the board articles and contribute in a positive way to this league. To hear those who say that you more or less are a waste if you don't have the game is wrong.

I am looking for another league, and if you are a commish who want a good gm, give me a chance.
