Missing team Logos/ No player cards/ No news

Been a long time player, been trying to find a fix for the some the problems listed above. Only some team Logos show up or sometimes none at all. For the news all I can get is " #Error:category not found " and it doesn't seem like there is any generated player skins.

I have tried deleting the files and downloading the game again, I've verified the integrity of the game files. I've checked in the database and I can see that the team logos are in there.

Has anyone else had this problem? first time I've ever had anything like this.

What logos are showing up?

It sounds more likely an issue when generating the save if they are all in the database to begin with.

Is it all games? Custom? Historical? Regular?

So it seems to just be the historical as of now. 3 or 4 nhl team logos (never the same ones) will show up or occasionally none and the NHL logo will replace all of them.

Have you changed any team names or changed what teams/what years?

No I haven't changed anything, tried different years, results are the same. I've had this problem since I got it. As well as the News error/blank player cards.

Sounds like something may be going wrong when the game is being created from the data files. Since you already had Steam verify the files, those are probably OK, but you may want to double-check manually to be sure: Have a look for the logos you were missing in \Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 8\quickstart_games\Historical.quick\graphics\logo_ teams - that's the folder that new historical games are created from, if the logo is in there, then something else is wrong. My first suspicion would be a problem with your hard drive - if it's starting to fail, that would explain odd and inconsistent data problems.
