7-0 last week, 6-0 in July, 63-22 .741 overall 1st place AL East 6 games up.

So we have been great the last 9 games. I feel i gave Larry Thomason every chance to turn his season around. He started off of the SU man, then moved to middle relief then i used him as a specialist for a time then long relief. Goddard was good vs RHP and slightly below average vs LHP but Stefan is a better defensive CF then he was and has a great career OBP. More on Stefan later on.

We have a 3 game series @ WB then a day off then host the Pirates for 4 before the all star break. I will vote on Thursday. Focusing on several of my players and players that are bubble players.

In 12.2 IP last week, my pen had a 0.00 ERA. Only P who somewhat struggled was Ramos. Berra, Young, Kat, Benz, Tugger, Eidsvag & Tarlac all had a great week.

Player Spotlight
CF Eugeniu Stefan # 27 S/R
Stefan comes to us from Brandywine for Thomason & Goddard. Stefan is an above average defensive Cf/Lf although his arm s just average. He is still extremely fast and he is 285 SB behind Nick Sullivan for 1st all time. I have been a fan of his for a long time but I always felt that all he was missing from being a multiple MVP award winner was AVG. He has speed, good power, BB & defense. He will platoon with Collier in Cf vs RHP and play Cf vs LHP. Getting Brandywine to pick up $2.5 million per year helps but He does make a lot for a platoon player. He is the only active Romulan in baseball and the only one to ever be an All star.

RP Pedro Nunez #5 R/R

Pedro has taken off this season at Middleton and his stock has risen quickly. He was acquired with P Randy Velvick for 3b Mike Hanlon this spring. He is the last off our great RP at Middleton. He could be a CL in a few season but will be slated for SU man next spring. fB & CB pitcher 99-101 MPH.

Duong is off the DL at Middleton, so the offense should improve. Gutierrez should help the rotation.

Tigris is finally back at New Chicago, so lets see what he can do in the 2nd half.

We are 7-4 vs the Warriors this season.

After a terrible April, the Warriors have been basically a .500 team since. They have 3 great SP and several very good RP. If Miller can get back to form and Clinch comes back in August healthy, they could make a run at a Wildcard spot late in the season.

Here is my all star ballot. I mostly voted for bubble players, players that need an extra push to make the team. Nøkleby & Nikolo were not on the ballot for some reason.

No major surprises on the AL team. Mighty Joe will be teh starting 1b but I like rookie Ivan Fernandez so I would like to see him make it but Dan Lincoln will either be the DH or backup 1b.

NL - As a fan of the Sox i had to vote for TA & Abreu. Tatum has a 0.00 ERA in almost 40 IP.
