Confused again with HR
Is there a general way to help your pitchers with home run suppression? What sliders would help if you seem to be getting low walks per 9? Is it the actual movement rating, the difference between two or three ratings or sliders?

mostly MOV rating, and park factors can swing things +/- 10 percent. Sliders have a pretty small effect compared to those, but not nothing

with movement though - just the movement rating in and of itself or a difference between other ratings and mov? Matthewson is getting rocked with a 94. Too low now? Brown, Gooden (who is inexplicably still good on my team) don't give them up - although they are in the bullpen so maybe that's why. Lefty has given up some early but 0 in the last month.

94 is probably on the lowish end of the playable range in diamond nowadays, but not a deal breaker I wouldn't think. I have a couple 93s in my pen still. Mathewson should be alright (though possibly not worth the high price).
