Does the game keep track of yearly batting champs, or home run champs?

Yes it does actually it keeps track of practically all stats.

I think the real question is whether there's a list of batting champs and home run leaders. I haven't been able to find one.

I've been begging for this for years. Maybe an extra page in addition to awards that lists batting champs, home run leader, etc. by year.
