CSV Reader

Hi

I am a longtime hockey management fan and have created a web application that reads your fhm7 csv exports and provides you with some expanded stats and visual charts. The app is still a work in progress but is currently in a useable state. There is a bug I haven't tracked down yet that may require you to reload your files.

The app is located at www.fhmcsvreader.com.

I do have plans to add more stats and improve performance but that may take some time. I will also be including ads to recoup some costs.

Let me know your thoughts or of any bugs that you may encounter.

Enjoy,

Jason

Thanks for this! Sounds like it will be a very useful tool. Will definitely check it out (at the moment in hiatus while waiting for FHM8, ha ha ha)

Pretty awesome tool! Is there a way to save the individual pages for offline viewing?

I may look into that later down the road but as of right now, no.

For offline viewing, you can just simply browse to the web address. The entire app has the capability to be run offline so as long as you've previously visited the site, it should load a cached version (tested using Chrome and Edge)

ITS GREAT !!!!!!!!!

Thanx a lot. Im looking forward to have more stats....

Maybe if you can add the game results (Boxscore) it would be awesome.

Oh is there a way that i can give the link of those stats to an online league because i think i cant share any link ... i want other DG to see those page and take a look at stats - standings...

I'm definitely planning to do more with the boxscores, right now they are just used to calculate the per game/period stats.

If I understand correctly you want to share the stats with your csv files loaded? This wouldn't be possible as the app runs 100% locally on your computer. This means there is no backend server or database to upload the csv files or stats generated. You would have to share your csv files instead.

I think you might have to wait for it to load. Same thing happened to me and it worked fine after that.

That's weird

Was it just a blank screen or was there a message from the browser?

Git-Hub Repo for this

Hi, do you have a git-hub repository for this or other version control? I would love to contribute.

Once you are in your saved game, go to the top menu and select WORLD. The last item that shows in the list is Export CSV. Selecting that will cause a folder called csv to be placed into the export/import folder in your saved game folder. That csv folder contains the critical files.

Sorry this is a hobby project of mine so updates will be slow. I haven't had much spare time to work on it.

I looked at the demo one. Is that an average of all 5 seasons that were simmed or just the most reason season?

Jason this thing is f'n awesome man. This is exactly what I wanted. The only change I would ask is to be able to download the converted files that are shown by your program so I can upload them to my own website.

I'd tried to use this the other day too and it was down. Maybe it's not functional anymore at all.
