Shout out for JeffR
This is an open post of congrats to Jeff for his work on the historical player database.
As many of you know I had been rather critical of the game at the early stages, and still have areas i feel need to be addressed. But this is a post is after having a good look around the historical layout of FHM 8, as a hockey historian and author, i am very impressed by how much time went into this. Not only to get every nhl and wha player, but now layers of European players, enough to have olympics from pre 1970 with all non nhl players. Really Jeff I want to let you know I admire the depth of work that went into this, and in general how much I agree with the majority of the ratings. (Of course if we sat down for a beer we could argue Alexander Gusev's offensive skills or how good a defenseman Lionel Hitchman was) but really ...well done. I just had to say that to you because having done similar things in the past for strat o matic, I know how much time it takes, and how well of a job you did putting that together Cheers |

FHM has a fantastic development team, and Jeff and Adam as the faces of it are both great!

Yeah, the depth of care and attention seems more like a labor of love, so cheers to the entire development team! It's very refreshing to see such passion for a gaming project, especially in this day and age.

I agree and having been an OOTP player for many years I'm always amazed by the team's willingness to improve the game with updates and listen to customers concerns and suggestions. For me this version is a big step forward so thanks everyone.

Yes congrats to the team. I may not get everything I want out of this game, but what a game it is!

Been a customer since year one and have liked the way the game has progressed. I really appreciate how involved the team is on the boards and how willing they are to take feedback and to fix little things (to them) which might be a big deal to some of us. The names instead of numbers thing in the 2D view is an example of that and it came very late in the development cycle. Keep up the good work!
