Hawerchuk Rating

I play mostly Historical mode Sims. I've played through dozens of sims the last couple years. Hawerchuk has never developed into a first line center in any of these games.

A few thoughts. There seem to be a lot of 5 star potential players that don't appear to be any better than him. And given he started with 100 points in his rookie season shouldn't his draft year actual rating be higher than it is? He always seems to get drafted by a team with one or two 4 star or more centers and never gets the ice time to develop.

When we took Hawerchuk in our Stingers save in the last version, I know Jeff talked about bumping him a bit, although I'm not sure if that got done yet. Hawerchuk was absolutely the right guy and right time in Winnipeg, but if he's buried it's no wonder he doesn't actually take off. Odd he's *always* going to teams with center depth. Where is he getting drafted?

I find he's usually between 4 and 10 overall (going by memory).

Somehow in my historical sims he always ends up on a team with an established center, whose rating is already 3.5 or up (again by memory).

I can't remember all the names, but he rarely, if ever cracks the top 12 (now 15) in scoring and I find he usually ends up topping out at a 3 star player due to being buried. In the last game he was drafted by Chicago, who had Nicholls and and established Center. Nichols development kept ahead of Hawerchuk, so he stayed on 3rd or 2nd linemostly. A couple years he topped a point a game.

I made some changes to him last month (it's already in the game), and we just fixed an issue with historical drafting priorities (that'll be in the next update.)
