Inflated Fictional League Stats
So I've been trying to fix an issue with setting up my Fictional league to match MLB's 2016 stats. Before the opening day of each season I adjust the stat modifiers to 2016. At the end of the season the league wide stats always match those from 2016, which is great as that's exactly what I want. However, it seems I can't get the distribution of stats among players to be similar to those of 2016 specifically batting avg. I'm finding the batting avg to be to inflated compared to those in real life 2016. The batting avg leader leader in my fictional league lead the league with a whopping .380 with 8+ batters batting .340 or better. There are also several batters batting well below .200, so I'm guessing the sim engine is trying to compensate for the poor batting by elevating the batting of the top batters. This has happened in multiple test sim (about 10) so it's not a one save thing.
Is there a setting or generator stat to tweak somewhere in player creation or something that will make fictional leagues more "balanced" and closer to real life numbers, while not have one guy hitting .400 as one guy hits .141?
