Joe Gordon certainly isn't a top 2B at this point, but he keeps hitting quite well for the Shiners.
I think this is an impressive achievement - with a typically unimpressive reward

Silver
Algoma surges to the top. The Penguins and Sugar Hill are at the top of OL and, not coincidentally, lead their respective OL-only divisions.

I'm trying man, not sure what I have to do to cure the postseason blues. GM & Manager both on the hot seat.

Twice Nowhere lost to the lucky wildcard winner, Quinta Enigma, in DS. Nowhere would likely do well in Diamond so definitely wishing for the luck to even out.

Nice! First time ever seeing that one. Last season I had a player collect 8 consecutive hits as a PH however, I can't recall what the PP award amount was. It was a Silver amount, too. |

Keystone has been sitting on PP and allowing it to build up.
With the new Cooperstown Set release tonight I decided to cash it all in on 57 Standard packs and the highest rated card I got was a lousy 91 Historical. I did not even complete a single mission by opening 342 cards! Got to love it! ![]() ![]() ![]() Save your PP boys, and don't waste them on ice cold packs! Diamond League
Another really solid month for Cary, including a revenge 2-game sweep against Paxville after the Kings took the previous 3.
(The Savages also got a revenge 3-game sweep against Paxville, grr!) Meanwhile, Brooklyn are going about giving themselves a good chance of staying up. |

Silver
Algoma stays in front, closely tracked by Sugar Hill. OL will be well-represented in the postseason, however, more OL teams are trying to escape Silver through relegation than promotion. Five of six relegation spots are filled with OL teams, with two others just outside the drop spots.

Special report from the S316 All-Star Game
I like to look at the All-Star game box scores from time-to-time to see what the trend is for whatever level my teams are in.
Overall, as you might expect, the league is dominated by 100PVR players, OL-compliant for the most part. The only non-OL-compliant player in the game was Select Ohtani. The only non-100 player among non-pitchers was SE George Sisler (96PVR). Among pitchers, the non-100's were SE Verlander (99), SE Shields (95), Legend Eddie Fisher (86), SE Scherzer (96), and SE Langston (99). Oscar Charleston and Josh Gibson have taken over as popular players. The National League manager used an interesting strategy in allowing Verlander to go the last 4 innings, despite having nine other hurlers left in his pen. |

Diamond League
Three 1-run wins for Paxville over Brooklyn kind of wrapped things up for OL. There are only 4 games left between Brooklyn and Paxville, which won't change the standings.
In PT, Cary's battle with Strickland could go right down to the wire, but Cary have a handsome run diff advantage over everyone, so they deserve to finish top of the league ![]() Paxville have just about kept it going and have a little bit of breathing space back to the Savages. Brooklyn had a tough month and are back in trouble. |

Pretty crazy that a 1-1 month could see Knockemstiff close the gap so much to Nowhere, who went 10-8. Excitingly, they play their only 3 games against each other in the final month!
A quick look would also suggest that Silly aren't quite out of it either, but would need things to fall massively in their favour. |

Algoma with a 3-game lead over Sugar Hill as each team heads into an OL-filled month of play. Cleveland has a very outside shot to overtake both teams.

Trammell a Bright Spot in Keepers Dark Season Adrift
Asylum was cut loose by the PT gods and has suffered a desultory season that currently sees them at 36-97, some 67 games back. They have endured separate 15 and 16 game losing streaks. As they longingly yearn for a return to OL in silver, their 96th loss on September 1st saw shortstop Alan Trammell bang out a pair of hits to crack the 3,000 mark. In 17 seasons, Trammell has batted ,305 with 246 homers and 1325 RBI. He has scored 1641 times and stolen 543 bases. He is a two-time MVP, 12-time All Star and has won eight Silver Slugger awards, while totaling more than 23,000 PP.

OK, I have to share this.
Just opened the last of Knockemstiff's 'reward packs' after completing FH3. I guessed they'd be bad beforehand, but... My last 34 packs were 30 diamond and 4 perfect, which yielded... 4 non-live diamonds! I even got this for the first time ever. Don't know whether to laugh or cry... |

Wow! I would probably cry, but who knows, it could be your best pack ever! Thanks for sharing.
