Live Start Question

I started a Live Start today and with regard to the Minor Leagues it did do a live start as it shows no games were played as of May 30th and no player stats. Is this normal? Perhaps I missed doing something? I thought Live Start would set the season as it really is for both the major leagues and minor leagues as of May 30th.

The other issue I am having is that I am not able to access the box scores of the games that were played prior to the Live Start. I get a message that the File not found. Has anyone else had this issue?

I believe the live feature is for MLB only and it's only up-to-date rosters, standings, stats and player ratings. So box scores before the live start date would not be included.

When starting a new game and under the Live Start option it states that both MLB and MiLB will both be updated with regard to the standings and stats as of the live start date. So this is why I am a little confused that when I did my live start today only MLB had up to date stats and standings and MiLB had no stats and every team did not play a game.

I saw the same thing when I started one a week or so ago.

I'll ask the beta team to see if this is intended or a bug of some sort.

Thanks for the information. Do you know if this means that if I start my Live Start today, the MLB season will be starting May 31st and the minor league season will be May 4th (the 1st day of the minor league season)? If so, that’s weird.

Actually MiLB should have standings accurate (games played), just not stats and player ratings.

Matt and team are looking into it.

My Live Start started May 21st and the MiLB just started on the same date, missing the earlier games. So if you want those games to reflect RL MiLB games, you might want to wait on a patch that fixes that. (not a big deal to me, but some might want MiLB accuracy)

Yeah, we're supposed to have minor league results (not stats or ratings or transactions necessarily). With the missing minor league year last year and the re-org this year, there's a lot of moving pieces so something may have gotten disconnected in the minor league results feed. We'll see what we can do to resolve this.

Okay, there were a couple issues with the minor leagues. I think we have corrected them now, but there are pieces that will need the next client update to fix to see the full minor league results.

Thanks Matt. Do you know when the client update will take place? As of right now, my Live Start shows my minor league teams all with 0-0 won/loss records.

Was this ever addressed? I just started a new game with a Live Start, but no minor league players have any stats for 2021..

We do not get minor league stats. Live starts run on the last few patches should include minor league results (and the next patch will fix a few more parts of that), but no minor league stats for players.

This is the first I'm hearing about a lot of this so apologies if it's been stated before, but are there any plans in the future to include real-life MiL stats and ratings? Even if it's just an end-of-season update?

No, minor league stats are not possible in the current framework, so there won't be any updates there.
