I'm going to add more judges, refs, and corner people. I need to go through the current non-participants and retire those that aren't currently active.

I appreciate that my friend! I love all the current British trainers you created too & printed them off yesterday to put in my folder & last night realized I forgot to include Shane McGuigan which I will do now. Dave Coldwell is about the only 1 left I know of.

Also really appreciate Shakur @ 130 & your rating of Boots too!

On Sunday my brother actually asked what's Boots rated?

I went through the whole fighter list, all 95 pages of it, and found four who have blank boxrec IDs:

Name Correct BoxRec ID

Marlen Esparza 787646
Edwin Malave 30166
Jamie Mitchell 784083
Vince Paras 725593

If we can get those corrected, maybe the updates will load in 2.5 without further problems

Esparza, Malave, and Mitchell appear correct. Looks like Paras' info got pasted onto Isaac Ekpo somehow.

The boxrec number for Vince Paras is correct in the game. I had to retire him anyway since he hasn't had a fight in two years.

He's showing up on the list twice

HERE with a blank ID

HERE with a correct one

The second one appears to have been pasted on top of another fighter, Isaac Ekpo, who no longer shows on the list

Ice Tea also tweaked Plant's ratings - fair assessment was my brother's reaction & I agree.

I reinstalled the game (2.5) I installed pilight's saved game from April 2020. I changed the config to match pilights save. This is what I found:

1. The good news: The bottom two categories (ratings records and biographies I think) installed successfully.

2. The bad news: the first category got an error.

3. The bad news #2: just glancing through the fighters, some of the ratings are changed. I'm pretty sure Rocky Graziano is supposed to be a 10 overall, but he has now reverted to a 7. Marciano and Dempsey were 14, now 13. Lennox Lewis is now a 10, which I don't think is right.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, only this time using a more recent backup (July 22). I still got the same error message for the first category, but going through the fighters the ratings seem correct! Thanks to pilight for going through and finding the incorrect numbers!

I'll look at it over the next few days. I'll likely have to delete him entirely and then add him again.

I know you'd rather be concentrating on adding new fighters and officials instead of doing database maintenance.

I'm seeing him on page 94 of 95 on the list. He also appears if you search for him by name.

He doesn't appear in the game because neither 2.5 nor 2013 will download fighters without an extid. 2.5 will stop downloading anything and give an error. 2013 will just skip them.
