Historical League: Signed Amateur Draft Players not on roster?

Historical League set up in 1900 with real players on their current teams.

Real players enter the league via the amateur draft in the year they first entered MLB in real life.

MLB teams have an active roster with 25 man limit expandable to 40 on 9/1. Each team has a Reserve Roster with no limit that I can find.

All goes as expected through 1907. Drafted players are signed and show up on the Reserve Roster.

1908: Amateur draft is held, players are signed....email received saying the player signed and is in our DFA area. Players are not on the Reserve Roster and are nowhere to be found...There is no DFA area...

Help? What did I screw up?

I would guess there is actually some sort of roster limit on the reserve rosters, as this is typically what can happen when you don't have enough roster space and sign a player in historical play. If you double check the settings for a limit, release some guys to get under whatever the limit is, then the signed players should show up on your roster once you advance a day.

So, I cut down from 175 players on the Reserve Roster to 90...then the players that hadn't yet showed up but the players that had signed still show as "No Team" and I can't find them anywhere...

If you're using anything like the historical defaults for 1900, you shouldn't be able to have anything like 90 or 175 players on the reserve roster.

Even if there's technically 'no limit' set to the reserve rosters, you still want to keep only a reasonable amount of players on them, or things can get wonky.

Just going from memory but I think it's supposed to be something like 5 or 10 at most, if even that much.

OK...Currently it says Reserve Roster - "no limit." So, it is counter-intuitive that there would be a limit...It seems that the actual "limit" when set to "no limit" is between 100-150. The default draft is like 50 rounds...not sure how 5-10 on the reserve roster would make any sense as a limit. I will manipulate both the draft and the put a limit on the Reserve Roster.

Thank you!
