Patch 79, players not getting ratings at new position in ST

I've been starting a player at a new position for the first two weeks of spring training, and he's yet to get a rating at that position. Is this a bug in the latest patch?

This totally depends on the player's ability to learn that position, their adaptability, which position it is (some like C are a lot slower/harder to learn than others). It may also just be you're playing them at a position they can't learn.

So I wouldn't think there's likely an issue here, it will probably just take some more reps at that position for the player to start to learn it, if they are in fact able to do so.

Never mind. I just realized he's a left-handed thrower, thus the lack of a new rating. Should have checked that before. Duh.
