A .500 team!?

This lineup is a .500 team?!?? Apparently in Perfect Team, it is. I'll never understand this game. Not investing any more money or time into. I guess if I went out and got 500k points, I could build the perfect team. lol Meanwhile I'll languish in bronze/iron age.

A little context would help a lot.

What level is this in? What do the teams in your division look like?

I am not telling you what league I am in. Point is..with those players, I should have a championship team. The other teams are stacked with 100 level players or they all suck. It's the bronze division.

Yes I'm surprised you were able to make it to .500 with that team too.

No, names mean nothing. This is a game and you have to figure out what works in the game. High power stinks in this game. Low movement stinks in this game. 100 level players, yes, these are required to succeed, but which ones? Clearly, the ones you have don't work so sell them and move on.

Not all 100’s are created equal.

It is important to remember that this is a card game using a baseball premise. A first thing to keep in mind is that Live 100s will rarely be able to compete with historical 100s (or many Historical Diamonds). Think towards Historical cards very early on.
To get out of the lower levels, I would say to focus on Contact, AvK, and Eye for your batters before Power. In particular, a low AvK rating will kill your batters. Strong defense is a big help; especially at CF, SS, and C. You need strong arms at SS and 3B, range is king in CF, and C Ability will help your pitchers. I tend to value C Arm more than others especially as you see some real speed as you go up the levels. For the pitching, Movement is critical as you move up with Control second, and Stuff last. A big thing is to watch out for pitchers with significant platoon splits. Opposing players will eat you up with their offensive platoons. If I could look at only one thing for a pitcher it would be their Movement against the opposite handed batters.
There’s a lot more at play but that is my quick hit primer.

Thanks for the advice. I've also noticed pitchers with a high STUFF rating do well. I'll to rethink my tactics.

Stuff can dominate at the lower levels but gets overtaken quickly by Movement and Control as you move up.

I have a couple of bronze teams that are dominating because they are the result of my selling off all my high value cards that failed to perform at the gold level about 6 weeks ago and slowly building up missions that got me what I thought would be good perfects. I seem to have chosen my missions fairly wisely.

I have begun the process of regenerating two more of my teams although one in silver seems to have rejected the idea of being recycled and has gone on a huge run since I sold off Cy, Nomar, and Pendleton.

From the HR totals for your team, it looks like a lot of them were mid-season acquisitions. Similarly, your pitchers win totals are pretty low.

Add another '0'. Seriously, my MVP is currently selling for that 500K by himself, and I just got relegated from diamond as a consequence of not doing the right things at the right time necessary to secure enough of the BEST cards. Most in diamond, I'm assuming all in Perfect and expecting many in gold, did. It's about numbers, not names on the cards, and you have a long mountain to climb.
