How to watch the Winnipeg Jets?

OOTP Hockey got me into the NHL. I was never a fan of hockey growing up and new nothing about it, but OOTP has slowly helped me learn the game. I have purchased every version since FHM 1. I got into the Winnipeg Jets by watching your FHM YouTube videos.

In years past I have always signed up for NHL TV in order to watch (stream) all of the Jets games throughout the season. I could watch all of the games on my phone or computer, except for the games where they were playing in my local city, which were blacked-out for the Live games. I could also watch game recaps, highlights, and the full non-local games at my leisure; no need to watch them Live. I don't live in Canada so this was a great setup for me.

This year however, the NHL has decided to partner with ESPN+ for streaming NHL games. The ESPN+ customer service is horrible, no managers are ever available to speak with, there is no way to give feedback for their crappy streaming options, and the NHL package is garbage. I was told that I can't watch Live NHL games, and that replays are only available 48 hours after the games end.

I am super ticked off about this. Why in the world would the NHL screw their fanbase like this? The NHL needs more fans, not less.

Has anyone else had this experience? Are there any other options out there that allow a fan to stream their teams NHL games during the season? I just want to watch one team throughout the season.

The change for streaming of NHL games from NHL.tv to ESPN+ should only apply to U.S. customers.
NHL.tv still works for me here in Germany.

Yes, thanks. It is an inferior product compared to NHL TV.

I'm not sure why you can't watch live games. I had to move to ESPN+ as well since NHLtv is not a thing anymore, and while NHLtv was better, I still can watch live games for my Ottawa Senators. The quality of the streams is not always great, but I can watch all games (as long as they are not on cable in my area, then they are blacked out but that was the same with NHLtv).
