I have a problem activation error
I would post this in the bug/ticket section,but I wanted to make sure this is seen. I've never had problems like this before, but I opened up OOTP(I already was activated which is why I'm so confused, I've had it since March) and randomly today OOTP opened as if never activated it, it's asking for my license key.. So I put in the license key and it says "license activation failed" huh??? not only, have I had it activated for MONTHS I've NEVER even x out of it or anything.. to see if it worked, I deleted OOTP off my laptop and redownloaded it i am still getting "license activation failed" please help me

Thinking that something may be wrong with my original license, I just bought OOTP again(since I saw there was a World Series sale) so I entered in my NEW license key and it still says "activation failed" please Help, this is so frustrating and annoying

I know there was an issue with the Fastsprings server a week or so ago. Maybe it's having problems again? I would also suggest to always mention what version you have, IE PC, Mac. The more information you give the easier it is for someone to help.
In any case, I think, sending a ticket in addition to posting here would be best. If the server is having issues they'll probably be getting a lot of these. If not then at this stage of the release cycle there probably aren't a lot of issues being reported and they may see your issue sooner there. Also report in the bugs forum too. Like above if it's widespread others either already have or will be joining you soon. |

Activation issues please always go through the support system: https://support.ootpdevelopments.com/portal/en/home
It's also worth going through some of the license FAQ issues (https://support.ootpdevelopments.com.../licensing-faq) to see if your issue has a common solution. If it's not there, or the solution doesn't work, then your best response will be through the support system. |

I just bought OOTP22... played it several days... then suddenly it would not let be open the game saying that my license ID was not in the server.
I filed a tech support ticket... and Alex solved my problem... he issued a new license ID. All is fine now. |
